Wood is alive, modern, and dynamic: the leaf is enlivened by waves that make the door an element of decor with distinctive personality that invites its surface to be touched. The panel is available in solid American walnut taken from forestation and finished with natural oils.<\/h4>\n

Torterolo & Re works with Riva 1920 in the production of this beautiful panel. Riva 1920 has been producing furniture for three generations. Maurizio and Davide Riva currently conduct the business set up by their grandfather Nino Romano in 1920 and continued by their father Mario Riva. For around twenty years the company has been focusing its efforts on producing interior decor from entirely natural materials with low environmental impact.
\nCulture, design, and awareness to social issues have been a fundamental part of Riva 1920 activity since then. Working with acclaimed designers has consolidated a philosophy that combines function and form without ever forgetting the importance of healthy and sustainable living. Special projects were born from this union of carpentry and geniality, as was the project for the re-use of Briccole Veneziane (Venetian mooring posts), the thousand-year old New Zealand Kauri project, and the Ground Zero project in memory of the 11 September 2001 tragedy featuring the participation of famous designers.
\nOf all these special projects, this panel designed for Torterolo & Re enhances solid wood’s material nature and plasticity with curving forms that provide a unique tactile experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>
